We love speakeasy's and this one was super nice. Lovely booths and bartenders as chatty as I would like them to be 🤪. Esteban made me this amazing side car that, to me, tastes like how it would have been made back in the prohibition era. Definitely a good place to visit if you love drinks and delicious snacks. Charcuterie board was also amazing.
Everything was fantastic. If you want a different take on coconut drink, try “On The Lanai”. it looks simple, although to me has many layers to it. I say, just have fun with it!
My husband and I took a craft cocktail class with Alexis and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! Go behind the bar to make 5 different cocktails - all your choice (or just have Alexis decide for you--we were never steered wrong!). You can book the class from their website. If you are going just for drinks, highly recommend the Nutty Professor.
Vault and Vator is a very cool speakeasy but difficult to find. It’s has a kind of secreted away back door that gives it the traditional prohibition feel. The interior has really low lighting, that gives it an air of mischief. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the bar itself and the prohibition era. We only stopped by for drinks. The Hugo 75 was delicious.
Love this dark and moody cocktail bar! Drinks are well blended and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and willing to get creative with orders. I have also attended one of their cocktail classes and loved it! We were able to get behind the bar and mix our own cocktails and take home recipes for every drink we learned about. Would absolutely recommend that experience for a birthday or other special occasion.
