We bought Drusilla's Pond 3.25 solid flooring to go in our new build and installed it ourselves. Absolutely beautiful flooring. We have never installed hardwood before, but I can't imagine it could get any better than this. Flooring is milled near perfect, very rarely is there even a bowed board (and VERY minimal if it is), they went together almost as if they were engineered. I couldn't be more happy with this flooring, highly, highly recommend.

Our floors are beautiful. I think my photos are a little misleading with the actual color and they look better in person. We got Rustic Charm Sand Drift clear and it was exactly what I wanted. Light, clean, modern. Ken was responsive and helped me understand what I wanted out of all the choices. One piece of advice for delivery, make sure you have at least 3 strong people to help unload the truck. We had the help of 2 contractors and my husband. I thought I’d be able to help, but it was too heavy for me.

Deciding to replace the carpet in my L/R, D/R, den and hall with hardwood floors last summer, I began my search. After several months and a collection of 15 to 20 sample boards, I had found nothing that went with everything in my home…what worked in the den, didn’t work in the living room and actually, I had found nothing I actually liked in the living room with my dark Italian plaster walls and mahogany furniture. Somewhere in my travels on the net I had seen a photo of a room with light gray hardwood flooring. I mention this to my husband and he thought I was crazy. Nevertheless, I started a search for gray hardwood floors and found the Uptown Floor site where they had more information about their product than any other site I had visited including a video of the Amish actually manufacturing the flooring. I was so impressed I called to order samples and spoke with Ken Fisher. I explained my dilemma with the normal dark hardwood and said I was looking for something much lighter. I had picked two colors in the Imagination line and Ken then recommended two other colors. I ordered all 4 color samples. They arrived quickly and I immediately opened and laid out the samples. To my amazement, my husband and I simultaneously picked Catalina Island…it fit the bill perfectly! I called my installer to give me the square footage needed and he was extremely impressed with the sample board stating it was “top of the line”. From the time I placed the order Ken kept us informed throughout the entire process of the status and even called after the installation to see how things went. Great Customer Service! I would also like to state that there was very little waste and my contractor said it was one of the easier installations he had ever done. The flooring has now been down for three months and I am loving it more and more every day and everyone that sees it falls in love with it. I am now planning to go ahead and install it in the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this product…it is well worth the price!

Purchased hickory Spring Meadow from Ken @ Uptown Floors recently. Ken was extremely helpful; making sure correct amount of flooring was order, ensuring that I had correct treads and risers for the steps, etc. I was a little unsure about ordering flooring online given the cost and not able to see the quality of wood/milling before hand but speaking with Ken and reading the reviews about his company I went and purchased 1300 sq. of flooring. Took about 8 weeks to arrive. During installation of flooring my installer mentioned he was very impressed with the quality of the flooring. He stated the milling was excellent, planks were square, none were warped and installation was a breeze.

Ken, and his products, are amazing! We've had our 6-1/4" Red Oak Flooring down for just over a year, now. Am amazed by the beauty of this product every morning when I walk out and see the sun shining on it. This is waaay better than what any Brick and Mortar store offered at the same price, or higher. Our installer was impressed as well. He initially gave us a price for 3 days to install. After the first day he said he'd be done the next day. And adjusted his install price a little for that. He said it was because of the quality of the product. Not fighting warped boards and lots of longer pieces. THANK YOU Ken!
