I left a review a few days ago and received a response from the company with an unprofessional attitude, all because they did not agree with a review. Keep that in mind when dealing with this company. I'm writing the review again to provide more information they desprately needed. I had Roof Smart recommended to me for fascia repair. Frank K came over and confirmed rotten fascia and the cause was due to poorly installed gutters by previous owner. My tile roof is currently 18 years old, but according to Frank, other than one spot of shotty repair work, the roof is in great condition. This was also followed up by telling me that I would be better off replacing the ENTIRE roof (for 4 spots of fascia rot). I later had multiple other quotes done by dedicated fascia repair companies who NEVER made ANY mention of roof or even tile replacement, and I now have repaired fascia...easy peasy. Here was the classy response by the company: "First and foremost, none of our estimators would ever tell anyone that it was more cost-effective to replace their entire roof instead of just their facia. A lot of times the cause of rotted facia is a leaking roof. More than likely, they are probably giving you a recommendation, because your roof was nearing the end of its life and was going to need to be replaced soon. We are highly reputable company A+ rated with over 18 years of service in our community and would never deceive our customers. Unfortunately, I have no idea who you are so I cannot research what happened and speak with the estimator. You are using an alias name and your profile on Google is blocked to the public. There are approximately 3000+ registered licensed roofers in lee County so finding a Chuck in a truck to do what you want is very easy but finding a reputable company that stands behind their work backed by warranties is who we are. Thank you for taking the time to warn others that we are an ethical company. Much appreciated." "First and foremost", at no point did I say anyone mentioned cost effectiveness...YOU did. The fascia rot was due to improper gutter installation...Not roof rot. To your "alias" remark. Alias is defined as "a false or assumed identity". JC is NOT an allias, it's my initials. The amount of excuses you throw out is astonishing. ..I love it. Thank you for taking the time to allow me to warn others that you're yet another unetihical roofing company. Much appreciated. Frank was awesome, by the way and I truly enjoyed speaking with him. Unfortunately employees hands are tied when there is pressure from the owner

Yesterday morning, it began to rain, first hard rain in several months. To my surprise, water began to drip into the house around our ac vent in the ceiling. Roof Smart had installed our standing seam metal roof in 2017 so they of course were my first call. I was happy that someone would come by to evaluate the problem the next morning. Frank K showed up early which we were happy about. I explained that while it was raining, I crawled up into the attic and took pictures of the water coming in. It was located just on the "low side" of our solar attic fan. Frank and I went up onto the roof together (very low slope). We pushed down on the metal panel on the high side of the attic fan and the metal was completely loose. The sealant used to keep the attic fan water tight had eventually failed due to intense heats and expansion. Frank explained that this is normal and that inspections of areas were sealant is used (stacks, vents, attic fans) should be inspected every few years to insure that they have not dried and cracked. Because of Frank's expertise, he was able to apply fresh sealant around the attic fan as well as all of our vents and stacks. While we will not know for sure if this was the problem until we have a good rain, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that the water was coming in at the attic fan where the sealant was loose. We will most likely do a "rain dance" with the garden hose in a few weeks after the sealant cures to give it a final test. We are happy also that this was covered under our warrantee. Frank K is awesome, so is Roof Smart and Roof Smart should be very happy to have Frank! He is quite the asset! Thank you again Frank.

Work was done promptly and professionally in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Due to the lack of insurance payments, Roof Smart generously gave us all the time we needed to pay it off. The office was very helpful and patient as I had to repeatedly go to them for documents and photos, etc.

I have had a great experience working with roof smart. I had a metal roof done by them in 2013 and have never had issues with leaking or any major problems. Yesterday I noticed a few of the screws looked like they were coming out a bit so I called them to come out and look at it. In less than 24 hours from when I called, Frank Konners came and went on my roof and tightened up about 20 screws for me at no charge. He said they like to take care of their past customers, which I really appreciate. I am very glad that I chose them to do my roof and will definitely be calling them in the future when it’s time to have a new roof done again.

We strongly recommend Roof Smart for your roof repair or replacement. There inspection was complete, looking ant both the outside and the inside. They found the points of our leaks, helped tarp the area, and scheduled the repair quickly. There price was fair and better than other estimates in had received. The process was quick, they handled all the permits, removed the old roof and replaced it quickly. The replaced all the flashing, and even the old skylight lens (the root cause of my leaks). Their team members did a great job of keeping the area clean, policing the area completely every day. They even used magnetic racks to make sure all the nails were removed.
