Reviews
We spent the weekend in Naples, Florida, and had a lovely dinner at the M Waterfront Grille. This modern, bright, sophisticated restaurant is nicely appointed with window seating facing the water. The front staff was welcoming and friendly, and our server, Claudia, was exceptional. She took the time to explain menu items and was super attentive throughout our visit. The chef sent out complimentary tastes of fabulous tomato bisque at the start of the meal and chocolate truffles at the end which was a surprising and elegant touch. Both were delicious! We started with the clams and mussels seasoned with chorizo and herbs which added just a pop of heat and texture to the shellfish which were cooked properly. For our entrees, we totally enjoyed the swordfish and triple tail which is a local snapper-like Gulf fish. Each was prepared beautifully with the fish cooked perfectly and with layers of fresh flavors in every bite. This place is a must when in Naples. There is ample parking, but the area gets crowded so valet is a good option. Reservations are a must. Every table was full with happy patrons. We will be back soon and visiting again!
I found this place to be great. The food was delicious, the seafood spring rolls really stood out. The treats they brought out were a great touch, and the service was excellent. Great views and cool atmosphere!
My husband and I came for brunch on Sunday afternoon and both had the lobster eggs Benedict-It was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend it enough! Our server Kevin Phillip made our experience even better with his positive vibes and excellent service all with a gorgeous view- Do yourself a favor, go there for brunch and ask for him!
Had reservations for 7, got there early , had time wait till 7. Zach was our server , he was wonderful made the whole experience great. Everything we ordered from the Spanish octopus for appetizers, to the seabass and short ribs for entrees to the creme brulee and gifted key lime pie and even the espresso, Everything was well executed and delicious. Next time we are in town we will definitely go back.
We decided to have lunch at M Waterfront Grille today. We ate on the front patio and were served by a delightful young lady called Gabby. We shared the shrimp rolls as a starter. We both had the M burger with fries. We finished our meal with M’s take on key lime pie. M is located in Venetian Village on the bay in Parkshore Naples. So it is located in a beautiful setting with seating and views to accommodate different preferences. Our food was delivered in a timely fashion and was all executed perfectly. The shrimp rolls are one of M’s specialties and never disappoint. They are perfect for sharing. The M burger was cooked exactly medium as we had asked. It was prepared with a tasty house rub as were the fries. It was a memorable burger. Gabby recommended we try the Key Lime Pie, which is abundant in this area of Florida. It is home made and was finished with a raspberry drizzle and coconut shavings. It was light and delicious. Gabby’s service throughout was impeccable. She is well spoken, efficient and intuitive; a credit to the restaurant and herself. We first ate at this restaurant when it was Maxwell’s on the Bay many years ago. It undertook a refurbishment and became M Waterfront Grille under the same ownership. We have eaten lunch and dinner here over the years including the occasional special meal, such as Thanksgiving or Easter. By and large, the service, food and atmosphere is of a high standard. It is definitely worth a try if you have not been and if you can spare the time for an indulgent lunch. You are unlikely to be disappointed. To last in the competitive restaurant business in Naples Florida as long as they have, you must overall be good at what you do! For us, at least, we usually have an excellent experience.
