Please make sure the front staff protect buttons, especially when they are expensive to replace. The corporate representative Ryo who professionally handled this issue has since quit. Ever since, the Kahala store has been pointing fingers instead of taking responsibility. I eventually had to contact the clothing company myself, obtain the buttons, and bring them in to be sewn back on. No one at the front wanted to help—only to shift blame to one another. Not a single apology was offered. Employees are trained to accept clothing, but when a problem occurs, customers are told to call corporate. I’m not sure why there is a manager(Claire) position at this location if issues are not handled in-store. This is still not fully resolved. I also never received the dry-cleaning fee refund that corporate promised, because the representative (Ryo) quit.

the worst dry cleaner on the whole island! they destroyed my expensive Burberry shorts. I had a few champagne stains on my Christian Dior dresses, it took Hakuyosha 5 weeks to deal with it, in the end they couldn't remove the stains and destroyed the fabric with chemicals. I am very disappointed. Never come back again!!!

Unfriendly ladies at the Kahala location. Claimed a spot couldn’t be removed, but I don’t think they even tried. Came right out with a little spot clean at home.

This morning I went to pick up my dry cleaning and there was 3 of us customers waiting, as the individual name Scott, kept on talking with the Filipino woman on the phone as we walked in one by one. As we all waited patiently, he offered no courtesy to his patrons. He could as easily told us “I’ll be right with you” or maybe expressed to the Filipino woman if he could call her back as he had customers in line waiting. We all waited and listen to his conversation for abt 5 minutes +. Then after he hung up, he offered no apologies so I gave him my ticket and he took my money and came back as said “I don’t have change?” I asked him what was I suppose to do and he said “ …come back”. Did he not have a small bank before he opened the store? Did he not have $13.00 in his pocket to give me change. This is disturbing as he is not a young adult but an Asian dude like myself in his 40’s/50’s that doesn’t know customer service. I’m not prejudicial on ethnicity but just saying. Is this the “norm” now? How disappointing that we have to put up with this elementary nonsense.

Appalling and Deceptive Pricing Practices at Hakuyosha Dry Cleaning Hakuyosha Dry Cleaning has ludicrous and seemingly deceptive pricing policies. At my recent visit to your establishment, I experienced firsthand the utter lack of transparency in the way you present your prices to unsuspecting customers. Frankly, it is nothing short of scandalous, a bamboozlement of epic proportions. When I approached your staff to inquire about the cost for dry cleaning a suit, I was quoted a fee of $30 for the top and bottom, which, to be honest, seemed reasonable and would fall within the standard competitive price range adhered to by other deserving dry cleaners in the locality. However, when I further inquired about my shirt, I was astoundingly slapped with an additional $10, and an extra $10 for the vest. That tallies up to $50, an extortionate price for the standard service of dry cleaning a whole suit, which in your establishment apparently includes a seemingly arbitrary separation of each piece. Applying simple math and logic, your pricing practices are neither intuitive nor customer-friendly; they're downright bizarre and exploitative. I am positively relieved that I didn't even think to ask about the cost to clean the suit pocket square, which, considering your unorthodox pricing methodology, might have easily inflated my bill by another $10. This smacks opportunistic pricing, exposing your customers to unwarrantedly high service costs without prior notice or explanation, and I find it unarguably reprehensible. Deception by omission continues to remain deception. The glaring lack of advertising or visible indication of your ridiculous price package is misleading and gives off an unpleasant impression of trickery and deceit. This level of uncertainty deters prospective customers and strains the relationships with the existing ones. To better serve your customers and to prevent such exasperating experiences in the future, I implore you to reconsider your haphazard and overly complicated pricing model. An immediate reform of such practices may save you from losing numerous customers. Get it together, Hakuyosha, we are asking for services, not participating in a heist.
