I've taken my 3yo Golden Retreiver to Groomingdales twice now. Both times could not have gone better. Like all(hopefully)dog owners, I get very nervous leaving my dog with anyone I don't really know. The people at this grooming salon are really, really awesome. The first time I had major separation anxiety. When I picked up my Golden, he was calm and did not appear scared or nervous at all. I could tell this was NOT a traumatic experience for him. The second time, same thing. Both when I dropped him off and picked him up, he was not scared or nervous at all. That is a clear sign that these people really care about the animals they groom. Now I must mention what an awesome job they did with the grooming Both times. They did an absolutely wonderful job! I get so many compliments when I take him out in public. I was referred to Groomingdales by another Golden owner who uses them. I will always recommend Groomingdales. Thank you Groomingdales staff for taking such GREAT care of my dog, and making him look so handsome! Highly recommend this wonderful grooming salon!!
If I could give negative starts I would, 1 is too many! I have been going to this groomer for nearly two decades but will NEVER go here again after yesterday! This groomer informed us that my 11 year old pug PASSED OUT until their care and had to be revived by their staff. He stopped breathing and went limp. Their response after this incident was not to contact me immediately but to throw him in a cage for THREE HOURS! I was not made aware of this incident until I called to see if he was ready to be picked up. Instead of apologizing to me for their negligence they argued with me and defended their behavior. I rushed my dog to the emergency vet and filed a report with Lee County Sheriff’s Department. Please be aware of this situation and protect the safety of your pet. I’m heartbroken that after serving my pets for so many years this is the treatment I received from them. Shame on you!
I love them so much. They take your dog in, do the grooming and you can pick your dog up without having to leave your dog for more than a few hours which is super wonderful. And my Shifu always looks perfect. I am very happy with them and so is my pup. Trisha a great and a very nice person.
I'll give them 3 stars for just being a local business for so long. I'll be moving to a new groomer now. They schedule an appointment for your dog, but then call you back (if you're lucky) 4-5 hours later. This is an unacceptable amount of time to have an animal in a little cage on the floor to get a haircut. Do better Groomingdales.
the ladies here are so sweet and always do such a great job on my cat's nail trims and soft paws!!!! highly recommend ❤️ my cat can be very nervous and she never seems stressed at all when i bring her home from groomingdales. ty 😊
