I'm new to the area and stopped by Food Lion for the first time this evening. I liked the store, but ran into a HUGE cockroach down toward the freezer section. I brought the issue to am employee's attention and while she was very polite, she didn't seem interested in doing anything about it. I guess I won't be making Food Lion my go-to grocery store.
Had a cart FULL of groceries and at 9am the only checkout was self- checkout. There were 6 employees standing there talking, not one offered to help. There was not enough room to bag everything. Still, no assistance. Hindsight, I should have left the whole cart and went to Publix. Then the chatty employees could put them back and have something to do.
Been looking for a certain drink and couldn't find it at Sam's. Walmart. ABC stores. Only here at food lion stores. Thank you.
The Verde location is great but the product is was looking for they only had like 2 or 3 and I had to go to moonville(piedmont) to stock up on what I was looking for.i live in easley so I can only hit a food lion if in Greenville or in moonville (piedmont ) on the further end of Augusta rd.i hit the road beside it which is Bessie something road anyway it brings me closer to home rather than hit 85 or white horse road to come back my way home....they are building one on that road but still will stop at those locations when I go to the cemetery where my parents are buried or Verde when I have a Dr's appointment out that way
New to the area. I went into store, great selection of anything. Better yet, since then I just order from Uber eats because they charge in-store pricing and give you the deals with your discount card and it's delivered promptly to your doorstep. That's a huge help.
