Reviews
We visited this place with friends and really enjoyed the cozy, rustic atmosphere. It has a warm and comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed evening out. We ordered a variety of dishes, and while everything wasn’t extraordinary, it was definitely good overall. The highlights for us were the marinara zucchini fritters and the tortellini ricotta, which stood out for their flavor. The Detroit cheesy garlic bread was also quite satisfying, and we enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks as well. And the desserts chocolate lava cake and tiramisu tastes so delightful. They have outdoor seating too which is perfect for summer days . A special mention to our server(ruby), who was very helpful in suggesting dishes and guiding us through the menu — that really improved our experience. Overall, a nice spot for a casual meal with friends, especially for the atmosphere and friendly service.
My only complaint is they definitely changed their gluten free woodfire crust, it is not airy and as good as it use to be. This new one is more gummy tasting and can definitely tell its been changed because the bottom does not cook like it use to. Super disappointed they changed it, the gluten free crust use to be so good and ao similar looking to a regular woodfire I use to question if it was actually gluten free. Not impressed but overall everyone elses regular pizza was delicious and always enjoy dining at Fiamme. I will not be back for the woodfire gluten free, was not worth the $23 at all
We had a bad experience with one of the dishes, & the quality of service. Three of us went for dinner on Sat Dec 20th. Ordered an appetizer(Bruscetta Flamed), a Pasta(Tortellini Ricotta) & a Roasted Garlic Pizza. Requested mushrooms on the side for the Pasta. Pasta came with mushrooms mixed up. As our Server did not come to check on us for a long time, we had to get up & request another server to send him to us. Kitchen recooked Pasta & this time it was too salty (made in a hurry!). By this time, we were much delayed & tired of waiting, as two of us do not like the mushrooms. Though the Server removed Pasta from the bill, he seemed least interested in what had happened on our order, & said, I usually do drinks so no idea what goes on in kitchen! The appetizer was delicious. The pizza was okay. We will NOT return.
Overall, the food was good, but the lack of air conditioning made the experience much less enjoyable. It was very warm inside the restaurant, and it was difficult to feel comfortable while eating. I understand that things can happen, but it would have been nice if the staff had acknowledged the issue or tried to make guests more comfortable. I hope they can get it fixed soon because the restaurant has potential, and I’d like to have a better experience next time
First time customer. Waitress greeted us with a smile and was very attentive. Food was great!
