We had three generations fishing with Captain Mark (5 people total). He knew where to find the fish and moved when we were not finding anything. On our trip we caught our boat limit. They were delicious. by the way! My 86 year old dad had a wonderful time, as well as, the rest of us)! Mark shared his knowledge with us as we asked many questions and was very personable. He remembered all our names right away and is a wonderful fishing guide! After we caught our limit we headed to another location to see what we could catch and release.....it was so much fun! When we are back in the area we will definitely be fishing with Calusa and Captain Mark! Thanks Mark for wonderful memories! I would highly recommend you book an inshore fishing trip with Calusa!
Mark was spot on. Knew exactly where to go and teach exactly how to catch the fish. A buddy of mine had caught his first Snook and redfish. It's good to see that the fishery wasn't affected by the Hurricane. Thanks again Mark looking at going again "reel" soon. Tight lines
Took my son on a charter with Mark on 11/25/22. Mark worked hard all day taking us to productive fishing spots where we caught a variety of fish and several "slams". My son caught a 28" Crevalle Jack which was the catch of the day and a memorable experience for him. Mark is an excellent guide, patient and a good teacher.
Mark is a consummate professional. Found him randomly online and got lucky he had someone drop out the next day. He took me, my wife and our 11 yo son out. There were almost always 4 lines in the water - with lively fresh bait fish he had caught that morning perfectly laid next to the oyster beds or mangroves. We caught over a dozen snook and at least a half dozen Jacks that really gave us a run. Great morning of fishing and would definitely use his experience again. You should too if you want to catch some great fish.
Captain Mark took my 15 year old son, Travis, and myself out on a great inshore fishing trip. He knows the waterway extremely well and knew where the fish would be. With so many fishing charter options in this fishing paradise, it is hard to pick one as I am sure most are good and you will catch fish, but finding a Captain who is friendly with a great personality might be harder to find. Captain Mark is that guy! He is super nice, great personality and was great with my boy. We had a blast and enjoyed sharing our time with him. I will be back on his boat, which was perfect for this application, every time I am in the Ft Myers area!!
