Long story short: this store will not honor their own shelf price if it's higher online. Tried to order a PC part that was marked down in-store. To be clear, not marked clearance or open box, just a sale price. Still available to order. Two different trips and spoke to an associate and manager. Both insisted that they have to charge whatever price is on the website and blamed the electronic tags. Manager referred me to their support chat, who clearly pawned me off to an AI chatbot after like 3 messages. Didn't do anything but offer me a credit card. Everyone I've told about this, including staff at another retailer, insisted that this can't be right. Come to find out, it's literally in their pricing policy that if online or in-store price is lower they are obligated to honor the lower price. This was confirmed by their support chatbot. Apparently nobody here got the memo. Staff were nice enough I guess, but pretty miserable customer experience. Would not recommend.
Went to Best Buy in Greenville today? We wanted to purchase our granddaughter, a apple watch. A young lady named Chelsea waited on us. Chelsea was very patient with my granddaughter, helped her pick out a watch , which was compatible with her telephone and explained her on the different watches. There's nothing better than having a pleasant nice person. Who is there for customer service? The young lady pictured in the picture with my granddaughter is Chelsea, who was our sales associate. I asked Chelsea what her future plans were, and she said she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Best Buy is lucky to have her as an employee. Im convinced , she's going to be a great kindergarten teacher also.
Very good experience. Have found great deals on high end TVs for my new place. The associates were nice and helpful. I took a star because there was one associate who kept pushing for me to buy things I weren't interested in and pushed for me to apply for a credit line once I was ready to check out. I avoid them when I go now. Lol. I got what wanted with no issues, damages or defects.
So I just want to personally thank Miss Emma for helping me with my recent purchase of PC parts. I went into this best buy to check and see if there was a 5080 graphics card available. However, she was able to assist me with an entire overhaul purchase to completely upgrade my home computer. She also sold me on the idea that I could return any of the parts I purchased by joining Best Buy's membership program. Now I'm off to go put together the new rig. Once again, thanks for your help, Emma.
This was a typical Best Buy experience. Little to no one greeting customers. My daughter and I were in the store for a good 20 minutes before someone asked if we needed assistance. I love Best Buy, but found them to be very overpriced with TV instillations. I end up buying 2 tvs (50” & 65”) from Walmart along with their $79 instillation fee. Let’s do better Best Buy!
