I always appreciate when Shawn comes to do a quarterly service. Not only does he do a thorough job but he always shares some new knowledge that helps us be better homeowners. He listens to what our concerns are and doesn't cut corners. Back Bay also put in the barrier in our crawl space and we have been told by multiple people who have gone under the house that they did a good job with that. It's always nice to have a third party validate the work of somebody that you trusted and hired. Back Bay also installed the covers for all of our vents and crawl spaces. They did good work and cleaned up after everything. We were disappointed to find that one of the crawl space doors had fallen loose and was open without us knowing it for a couple of weeks. They sent someone out pretty quickly to look at the situation and we were told they were having some trouble with those doors and they would fix it and put pins/screws in it so it would not fall open again. We appreciated how quickly they got it fixed; we just wished that since they knew there was a problem with those doors not fitting tightly that they would have contacted us (since they had just installed them for us) to come and add in the screws without waiting for us to have a problem. Honestly I feel like that would have been the best plan of action from the beginning as a backup anyway to make sure that the doors were always secure). Having it fall open without us knowing caused us to get bugs and a rodent under our house when our crawl space was open. They came back to handle those issues as well- just would have been nice not to have to deal with that at all. *That's the only reason we didn't give five stars. Overall we have been very happy with Back Bay and as of now would recommend them to friends and family.

The office was extremely organized and efficient, no crazy calls about appt. changes! The technician was so nice and asked all the right questions to keep my family and my pets safe and happy! I love their setup and I am going to tell all my neighbors!

I am delighted to write this update to my experience with Back Bay Pest & Mosquito. After my unfavorable review of the company, I was surprised to receive an email from Jacob, the owner. He was extremely apologetic for my bad experience and expressed his intention to do whatever necessary to win back my trust. Often when people say this, they don't really stand behind it, but Jacob was absolutely awesome and completely made good on his promise. He helped me get my termite coverage reinstated and helped me to get the letter I needed for closing on the sale of my house. But what impressed me most was his professionalism and integrity. He wasn't willing to simply sign off on the condition of my crawl space until he verified that the letter was accurate and the house was safe. He even insisted on speaking with my structural engineer. I have tremendous respect for that! I can now give this company my wholehearted endorsement based on both my long-term experience with them and their response to my complaint.

The technician, Dreven, was prompt, friendly, and explained everything he intended to do. I am very pleased with the work and Dreven and his partner delicately moved personal items and returned them to their proper places before leaving the job. My home was clean and there was no evidence of them having been there. Dreven made sure my questions were answered before leaving and ensured I knew what my next steps were. I appreciate Dreven and Back Bay Pest and Mosquito.

Shawn is always on time & takes time to have a friendly chat. He is very professional and always accommodates my request to spray inside when needed. He is awesome.
