I want to start by saying I appreciate Jay for taking the time to paint our house. Painting an entire home is a big job, and I recognize the effort. That said, our experience was not what we hoped, and there were multiple issues we have found that made this project frustrating. Jay originally gave my husband a quote on June 14th, 2023- and we appreciated that he honored the price. However, he didn’t come back for a walkthrough before starting the job, even though we had added furniture and moved things around since his first visit. This decision really impacted the project. We were told the job could be done in 3 days, but once he started, it became clear he underestimated how much work it would be. On top of that, the attention to detail wasn’t there. There were multiple things speckled in paint primer after day 1- which is why my husband had to ask for him to cover our belongings moving forward. My stove top, fridge, table, and a purse that I had to wash several times were left with white specks. I also had to purchase a replacement mat for my kitchen because ours was left with paint marks. Some walls were also not properly coated with paint, leaving the old blue paint to still be visible. He also painted over a push pin on the wall instead of removing it. Our closet was also a problem- Jay & his partner took down the shelving to paint inside. We were never notified of any problems, so we started putting our belongings back inside the closet. Once everything was put back how it was before, the shelves collapsed, scratched the fresh paint, and left holes in the drywall just days after the job was done. I understand painting can be unpredictable, but for the price we paid, I would’ve hoped for better planning and attention to detail. If Jay needed more time or realized the project was more work than expected, he could have been upfront about it or done another walkthrough before starting. I appreciate the work him and his partner put in, but unfortunately, there were mistakes and oversights that were disappointing.

I worked with AJ on March 6, 2023 to paint a 5x5 brick section directly facing my front door. AJ did a transformational job and hiring him was easy and affordable. I'm glad to recommend AJ's Painting LLC for your interior and/or exterior painting needs.

Just had AJ paint our double front door. Did an amazing job! Communicated well, on time, great price, and great cleanup...hard to find all that these days. 5 stars. Will have him back again for any other paint needs. UPDATE: AJ just completed the painting of our neighborhood front entry signage and did an excellent job as expected.

I contracted with AJ to paint the exterior of my home and was so impressed by his responsiveness! He not only got right back to me by phone but stayed in contact with me via both phone and text. That is a very rare occurrence these days with contractors!! The house looks amazing and he completed the job in 3 days! I told AJ when it comes time to paint the interior of my home he will be the guy I contract with! AJ is not only a nice guy but professional, reasonably priced and does fantastic work! Call him for a quote...you'll be glad you did!!
